Bird's Nest has always been highly regarded as a premium delicacy, and it is only consumed by a specific group of individuals, e.g., children, pregnant moms, and elderlies. However, Yanle was born from the desire that everyone can drink it as a natural health supplement. Reintroducing a newer way of life meant bringing a twist to the traditional approach to design. Unlike most bird's nest brands that adopted a conventional style of packaging and design, Yanle went the opposite route. The logo depicted a modernised version of a Chinese mark representing "happiness in a bird's nest." The colors were adapted from traditional colors of Chinese culture but brought to life with a more modern outlook.
